Hello,

I may need to close my Thai company as the joint venture project it was opened for may now not proceed. My lawyer says I can freeze the company or close it for a fee of 20,000 to 30,000 baht.

This company has never traded.

If I was to sell the company, does anyone know if there is much market for this? Also how much would one sell it for? It is registered at Bangtao Phuket. I would prefer not to have to pay the 20,000 baht since it looks like I may have wasted the money starting up the company in the first place!

Also, does anyone know of the repercussions of freezing the company and leaving Thailand? Not that I'm at this point yet, but just curious.

Thank you sincerely for any guidance.
