What are the dates for the water throwing?

I'm not sure but based on previous years it will be a one day thing.

Hello,

Yes, just the first day, but at Market Village, there bath foam and animation.burp.gifintheclub.gif

ah! good.

Songkran is from April 13 to 15

I will ask the home of the Village Market;

23rd April I'm told

It's never that late, the one water throwing day in HH will be either the 12th or the 13th

I will be out of there before then. smile.png It is one of the most lameass pathetic events in Thailand.

The country is about to have its worst drought in 20 years and there will infantile wastage of the precious resource. sad.png

Leave before the airfares are hiked, Prepare your evacuation now!!!!

It certainly has gotten more aggressive over the years, especially in tourist areas, where a large percentage of the worst actors are foreigners. It used to be, with Thais, a simple "por laew" would let you pass unscathed, but now, it's useless. Just plan on a few days of surrender, and try to either enjoy, or avoid it.

yes I was told I no listen - I'll go with your eithers on this one.

It can be a pain in the proverbial and in endured it once in Pattaya which was an absolute nightmare.

One day in Rawai and one day here were a bit of fun and kept right away from the touristy areas. Mainly kids doing what kids do having a bit of fun.

I got a motor driven water cannon, like you see being used in riots. I knocks people off their feet and pushes them along on the ground like leaves.

It is mounted on a tanker truck with two 100 gallon tanks.

i got the whole thing at a used truck dealer. it should be a hit a Market Village. like this:

The Songkrans I've spent there? Only the first day, and only during the day. Quite a pleasant change from Bangkok ... and Pattaya.
