hathairat2711
Hi I have just subscribed to a VPN which seems to be working just fine. My internet speed with True is 16Mbps. First thing this morning I carried out two speed tests one with a UK server which showed just over 14Mbps which I'm sure is acceptable using a VPN and the other through a HK server which showed more than double my internet speed with a reading of 34Mbps. I have just carried out the same tests and the UK is more or less the same speed whilst the HK server reading is 36Mbps. I will keep checking the speeds during the rest of the day but are these double speeds a one off maybe. Cheers.

Pib
OOKLA/flash-based speedtesters such as speedtest.net can be easily fooled by local cache servers on ping time and/or download speed to international servers. Try the java-based speedtester at testmy.net which is not fooled by local cache servers. In the top right hand corner of the screen select Test Servers and select to where you want to test to. See what the test reports...it will report realworld speed vs speeds that may be really coming from local cache servers.
DaveBKK
If he's using a VPN then he's not hitting the local cache.
DaveBKK
Btw Java is total crap on a browser. Full of security and exploit holes. Never use Java through the browser.... Uninstall it best course.
