Anyone help me with information about roi Et

Schools/language centres offering special English?

Does the Army have bases there and where are they - families/learning etc

Thanks

Re: Roi-et

- are you looking to teach English, or learn it ? For yourself, or for a child ?

- A. Meuang (Central District) is reported to have a population of 40,000. Looking around, that seems like a reasonable estimate.

- There is at least one army base, at Srit Somdet, south of Highway 23 near the Mahasarakham border.

Re: Yasothon

- I don't know much, as I don't live there. It is smaller than Roi-et

- There is an army base on the south side of Hwy. 23, about 10 (?) km east of A. Meuang (Yasothon city).

Amphoe Loeng Nok Tha is a small city in eastern Yasothon, located on Route 212 between the larger provincial capitals of Amnat Charoen and Mukdahan. It has an International school. No military bases are nearby.

There is a great little Italian restaurant by the lake in Roi Et, right next door to the aussie themed pub/ restaurant. Humble place, don't even know if it has a name- but the pizzas, yum. Among the best I've had anywhere.
