How to set up a PC/notebook with Windows 10 Pro with a different keyboard....

Sabai dee?

I'm pretty sure that not many computer shops in this country have a set up CD in German, or any other language?

I've tried a few things and it's really great when using W 10 Pro. Let's say, you're running an English version of W 10 pro, but you've got a German keyboard on your notebook.

If you're running a genuine version of Windows, you can download all sorts of "language packs" and change the keyboard and command language in only a few seconds.

Then the right "proofing tolls" and you're good to go. I've tried it with German and it works like a charm.

I also tried it with Thai and all commands, icons, etc are in Thai which might help a newbie to get familiar with a computer.

But i still don't know how to get my wife in front of the monitor that she can read news, watch you tube, etc....

Play Thai soaps on it, and gradually reduce the size of the window.

Just to clarify, if you have a genuine version of Windows (non-Pro version) and the Windows version is a "Single Language" version you can indeed still download/install multiple keyboard input languages but you can not download/install multiple command/system languages--you can only have "one" command/system language version loaded and not "all" languages can be selected but a limited set when doing the initial install. Like if a Single Language (English) version of Windows Home it will be limited to a X-amount of English command/system languages during the install/afterwards.

I apologize, I forgot to add W 10 pro. Haven't tried any other W 10 versions yet. Thanks a lot for pointing that out.

Next thread will be how can I modify my PC into an air conditioning unit on bicycle rims? facepalm.gif
