Heavily pregnant young waitress stabbed to death in downtown Udon

Sickening account of another young Thai woman being brutally murdered by a possessive ex-lover...

There appears to be something about Thai culture that causes males to demand female loyalty or else...kinda reminds me of ISIS philosophy...either submit to our demands or off with your head...

Dark under-current behind many of the smiles...

Death penalty.

Oh yes that really works well in the USA....the number of murders have plummeted.........coffee1.gif

Oh wait a minute they have only gone down in the states that don't have the death penalty..... never mind maybe you can think up another knee jerk reaction idea

http://www.deathpenaltyinfo.org/deterrence-states-without-death-penalty-have-had-consistently-lower-murder-rates

I vote DEATH PENALTY too. No room for wooly liberals when it comes to dealing with sick murderers.

Last week in a village in Seka,Nong Khai a 30 old Thai guy was stabbed to death by a 19 year old and when the cops asked his two accomplices why he did it they replied ...'he looked at us ' these three are also out on bail from another assault case. The guy who stabbed him has now been 'hidden' by his grandparents and the police who are from the same village are not doing much to find him...

Parents of victim have now gone to the military for assistance.

Im not making excuses for the killer but with the onset of this extreme Esaan heat 40/41/42C day after day everyone is on edge.....So just take care out there.

Gimme a break ! It's the same temperature for all of us but we are not all running around stabbing someone 17 times are we ?

Thai Men have huge suppressed emotional problems and don't grow up easily; the weather has nothing whatsoever to do with it.

That's a terrible story, and i wonder how there was not a single soul to help the poor lady.

Sometimes i feel ashamed to be part of the human race...

I think, in general, we are running too fast, we should stop and think what's going on ?

Even Udon Thani gets very quiet downtown after 8-9 pm, streets are empty and that's why the killer attacked her, I think .

But I am confident they will get him, and soon.

LoS or what? There seems to be much simmering anger beneath the surface here and all too often we see the results of it's being released. Not really any different from anywhere else.

There is definitely a lot of anger out there.

Just last weekend the family and I drove north for a short break. The 'in-ya-face' and tail-gating attitude of a good percentage of the road users is both shocking and quite alarming to a family merely travelling for a break.

"Further inquiries revealed that Chamaiporn had been married to another man and had had a child with him. Some years ago she met Ping and they even went to Bangkok together before they split up when the victim returned to Udon to work."

Perhaps she has been involved in a love triangle, before she got pregnant, who knows?

I am not justifying this murder but you all know that Thais can be very jealous and murders connected to love-triangles are far more common here than they are in Europe.

Rip So Sad. I hope the police catch this low life dog shit eating piece of trash and deal with him appropriately.

Heard today thru the grapevine , her husband was at the murder scene , in a drunken rage . RIP

London Calling , where the lady used to work is closed today.

Sooooooo many Thai songs are about love triangles or unrequited romance.

Flick your TV on any Thai music channel. The accompanying video to a song will invariably show a jilted, depressed and/or lonely Isaan youth brooding over a love interest that is not reciprocated.

Thai life mimics the popular fiction it promotes.........(or is it the other way round?)

So from what you say, because such atrocities occur in other countries this is ok? You are one sick person if you think that

I don't think the violent crime is any worse than it was 20 years ago when I first started living here, its just that the news is more reported in foreign media nowadays, who remembers the Crime News magazine that used to show horrific graphic photos of murders and suicides?

Saying that there is possibily more crime related to foreigners but that could be due to the increase in numbers, but Thais have always been doing crazy stuff like OP.

Well, attacking other posters for stating the obvious, kind of proves the point of the post above yours.

I hope you are not carrying weapons when strolling around the neighborhood.

With a username like yours, one would expect a certain level of wisdom...whistling.gif

It happens everywhere not just Thailand.

At least that's what I'm waiting to read.

Unfortunately the people who continually write these types of responses live in Thailand, read Thai visa and its news as well as other sources,so it's irrelevant really what goes on in Brixton when you live in places like Udon Thani.

Do you think people in the Bronx or other inner cities care about slayings in Thailand I don't for one minute.

The reality is if you live here the place is steadily getting worse,at least it is in my eyes when I keep reading these horrific stories.

What say the naysayers

Well it does...........................

Really this is a common occurrence in Europe is it?

Simple answer, No!

These types of attacks, and there are many, are a regular event here, very few make it to the western media.

This would be an exception in Europe.

Other than that this is a Thai forum, what has "it happens everywhere" to do with this forum? Even if it was true?

Didn't think it could get any more graphic and horrific than the go go girl who was stabbed to death by her army cadet ex lover on walking street.

Thailand keeps raising the bar.

Really sad + sick stuff but it does seem to happen everywhere and in all countries.

Disgusting what jealousy brings up.

BUT MAINLY MADNESS IN THAILAND , i feel the people are mad, should start of with good education ,work with real wages ,and sorry to say kill people like this ,but will not help the girl ,lived in saudi arabia in the 1970 ,nearly no crime ,maybe its changed there ,so of your head seems to work ,at least you can't kill someone twice ,never did like UDON ,Nong Khai nice

People have to realize that betrayal is the common cause of many violent reactions...women today are notorious for this and if you have never experienced (victim) of such a thing..one has no idea what a man is capable of...I can say that it becomes much more easy to put away a woman for such an act and have thought of doing away with a Thai woman more than once..sorry to say but people like this deserve to no longer be living. A warning to Thai woman..you better think twice about betraying a man who has let you into his trust and care.

Rejection by a lover is seen as loss of face and hence the guy looks weak by his so called peers.

Until Asians understand that it is OK to lose sometimes, they will not move forward.

And of course they need to grow up, Asian men are generally very immature until they get much older.

Agree!

But who's gonna teach them?

Their teacher in school, the daily soap in tv shows...aso.

Sometimes I really think sharia law is the best for murderers like this.

i am 101% against sharia laws.

But in this case YES ! They should stone these coward murderers to death IMMEDIATELY after they catch them... NO MERCY !!

@ the big Manitou of Thailand : please take out ALL those daily violent soaps IMMEDIATELY as this is BIG part of all the violence in Land Of Scams ! Or is this maybe a form of "keep them happy" ???? SMH.......................... blink.png

It has been said many times, not until the punishment fits the crime will things improve, typical example of Thainess at it's worst..!!

This is exactly right. The wrist slaps in Thailand for this sort of violent crime are just begging for more of the same.

It undervalues the lives of every one else in favour of the violent, arrogant, heartless idiots who commit them.

Quite a one sided argument you have going on there!

One rarely hears of the violent reactions of Thai women towards Thai men, or even Farang men for that matter, regarding their many Kik's and Mea Noys. It would seem that they're just expected to sit at home and grin and bear it. Although the phrase, 'what's good for the goose', springs to my mind.

And I guess what you're implying by your warning, is that Thai women should just accept all the physical and mental abuse as well as the drinking and endless infidelities.

Idiot, Sharia Law would have had the girl stoned,to death, or beheaded, for adultery.

UGH , What betrayal ??

The lady had two kids by her husband in Sakon Nakhon .

He does not take care of her or his children , lao cow , better option than ,take care of his family .

The lady comes to udon takes up a job in a London Calling , to support her family ,

PISS head , turns up , high on booze , he has lost face , and .. does the Thai thing .
