Hey guys,

I plan to move to Hua Hin at the end of the month.

I visited it a couple of times with my thai gf and we would like to move to there from BKK.

The plan now is to rent a scooter and drive around (did that a couple of times to find a house/condo in other cities).

My budget is 10k baht max. so I will skip the center of HH and the beach side of the main road because it should be way over my budget.

I want to start at around soi 100 and go further south till soi ~122 or something like that.

If I cant find something I want to start the next day at plearnwan and head north (maybe even to cha-am ?)

Maybe someone here have some tipps if the 2 day plan is realistic and the time enough to explore all the soi's. (I will be tired of course - no problem ;))

Maybe someone even knows a house or specific soi where I should start at.

Thanks in advance my friends!

Thanks guys !

I will move to La Valeé Town in Tambon Hin Lek fai ( I have no clue if thats the real soi name ).

Its basically Soi 70 but in the mountains.

Pretty nice Townhouse with 2 level, 3 bedroom, new furniture for 10k.

I also did rent a new 2016 Click with 7k kilometers on the meter for 3800b per month without deposit because I dont wanna buy one at the moment. Is that price reasonable ?

Good choice of area! 10 mins to central HH with great fresh markets and restaurants on your doorstep. Down the hill to Big C and food court next door. IMHO best area in HH. Locals in WANs bar will make you welcome.

the cheapest i have rented a scooter for is 3000 baht per month. Honda Click 125cc with 12,000 kilometers on it. So you are not too far off.
