Loneliness creeping up on me

Learn some Thai and loneliness won't be a problem.

One of the easiest languages to learn and worth the effort if you plan to spend some time here.

I speak Thai so communicating with locals is no problem but that is not friendship

Oh and I have girlfriend - the post is about friendship with a native English speaker who needs to have more than just a relationship with the Thai wife/girlfriend

So denim - understand now

When I first came here I craved farang company. I learned to play pool & joined two teams. Then I heard about Quiz Nights & joined 2 more teams. I had a lucky escape - I joined the infamous Pattaya Bridge club & played 3 times a week till I moved to Bang Saray. Living on a Moobaan/estate also opens up avenues for friendships round the pool.
