Salaya/bangkok Noi

Featured Replies

Looking for an apt, condo or small house within easy travel of the Salaya Mahidol campus. Must be accessible to public transport. Any suggestions appreciated for either possible rentals or agents who could help locate one in the Salaya/Bangkok Noi area. Tried in the accomodation finding sub-forum but no replies....

hi sheryl

I have a brand new three bed house on the border of Thawi Wattana and Taling Chan, just off the Thanon Wongwan Rob Nok (Western Outer Ring Road) from the beginning of december. Some 5 minutes drive to Salaya Mahidol Campus, there are buses as well - 4 or 5 stops, a few minutes ride. Or 2 train stations from Chimplee Station to Salaya Station - but walking to and from the stations might be longer than taking the bus.

My sister in law might have shortly a 3 bedroom house just off Thanon Taling Chan in Muban Sirikasem area - there are buses 124, 125 and 515 a few minutes ride.

Do you have an internet savvy Thai friend, or a Farang who can read Thai? There are several Thai Language Web sites that will list rental properties in that area.

You might try Thailisting.com click on rental search. they are an aggreator site which search other thai sites and put them into one place. You can search English and get some info about the properties in English. Although once you go to the actualy site it probably in Thai.

Driving/walking the area you would like to live in is a great option ... tells you about the dog problems .... noise problem .... etc etc

Check out the Accommodation Finding Forum attached to this section.

You may find what you want there.

I'm not sure if I can post other sites here, but let me give it a try:

www.baanchao.com

www.metinee.com

www.baanforsale.com

There are a lot more, but these are the ones I have bookmarked.
