Any and all information welcome on Shatahip. Most importantly cheap accommodation 400-600 Baht if possible, more if necessary. Any internet cafes? Any open late? I have heard there is not much to do and see there but that might just be what the doctor ordered.

^ Make you right lad...doubt the locals will be too keen on a new guy calling their beloved town SHATahipbiggrin.png

Seriously though, Bang Saray (N.of Sattahip) or Ban Chang (E of Sattahip) are probably better bets. BS quieter with better beaches, BC has better local night life.

Thanks.

Pardon the spelling. Sattahip has a nice (big?) park. I found two hotels by the water right in town. Best price 850 with shared bathroom. Nice new place has a dorm room for 350 for the budget minded and can get a sea view for around 1000 baht give or take. I found a 'thai' type hotel for about 500 a bit away from the sea but right near the park.
