1. papa recently acquired a trials bike, so plan to attend.

2. no truck, so will take bus to CM w/o bike.

3. like to rent/borrow something for the event.

4. The event organisers haven't been super forthcoming about event details,

and papa no unnerstan most of that poster.

Any insights by CNX locals would be appreciated.

be better looking on the other forum that has a r & a in the name papa ,they seem to cover a lot of the chiang main area and is much more off road orientated

Ok

papa in CM now to do camp 2mor.

Very frustrating trying to get registered and trying to find out basic info like where & when,

as event is run by not-too-good-English speakers not keen on getting back.

But, cautiously optimistic.

0800, CM football stadium, I guess.

They say a trials bike will be available for me, so cool.

Hoped mountains would be cooler but ~40º here.

Few tourists around.

Football stadium = man made course and obstacles?

I would prefer nature and natural course and obstacles.

Out in the mountains, rocky creeks and streams etc.

papa al is MIA...last heard of he was heading into the mountains of Chiang Mai for a "nature" course of trials riding.

Maybe he has decided to "keep" the trials bike lent to him and is riding it back to Pattaya via trials trails over the mountains.

About 20 Thais and 5 faIang registered.

papa was the only beginner.
Most guys damn good and
Spanish instructor pretty amazing.
papa sore all over.
know what I need to work on now.
