Friend got stopped for a noisy motorbike exhaust, police took photos of bike reg etc, told friend to follow him to station to pay fine, friend lost policeman in traffic and thinks he has got away with it, is that the end of the matter?

Possibly, got stopped in Hua Hin, going back there soon for immigration!

Maybe he should fix his motorbike in the meantime?

Nothing to do with me, he wants it louder so he has to except the consequences!

'Nothing to do with me, he wants it louder so he has to except the consequences! ' He may want it louder but what of the rest of the public? Why do we have to be deafened/have our sleep disturbed because he wants a look-at-me bike. A wannabe adolescent.

What's with all the haters in the bike forum?

What's with all the haters in the bike forum?

Haters, where, who? I hate noisy exhausts, I wanted to know what would happen if caught, seems nothing hence why there are so many inconsiderate bikers and I'm sure car/pick up drivers here!

Funny one and I take it your friend has no license too ...as thats what they take from you on the spot to ensure you do turn up etc. All depends on whether the cop can be arsed ...has a piccy of reg so can track him down or cop sez mai pen rai and lets it go. Either or your friend is a fool as the fine is often 500 baht and now hes just risked being fined more or even locked up for a bit as a lesson. Oh, each to their own eh lol

Most probably nothing.

Wall Street isn't in Thailand.

All Farangs look the same to them..
