Merely reporting the weather in my area.....
I'm in Spain. My antenna was a dipol for 162MHz, now I cut new metal strips and checked resonance at 137 MHz with a VNA. Its probably the best I can get before making such a complicated antenna like yours. With the new antenna, there is sufficient signal. The signal can be seen in the waterfall right and left to the actual frequency, and audio can be heard. This was not the case with my old antenna. The pictures of the clouds only are not that interesting, but the satellite also measures infrared or something and then colors the rain clouds. These are really nice. Thanks for your help with this, and I put my antenna here not because it's beautiful, but that others will be encouraged to try. Its minimal effort to make one. -

Musk calls Trump’s big tax break bill a ‘disgusting abomination'
The non-partisan office that scores the cost of legislation on Capitol Hill warned that more than 10.9 million people could lose their health coverage if President Donald Trump’s proposed “One Big, Beautiful Bill” act passes. Of that number, 7.8 million people would lose their Medicaid coverage. The Congressional Budget Office, the non-partisan office that evaluates the effects of bills being debated, released its comprehensive report on the overall impacts of the legislation, which the House of Representatives passed late last month. Recent trip to UK with Qatar air- A very sad, heartbreaking visit.
I agree, I went on a trip to London last year and to was shocked of all the Middle Easterners there. I stop with the family at a fish and chips shop and that was the worst experience I have ever had. Last but not least, had to pay $200 USD tax upon departure-Not a very good trip. The only highlight was the visit to Stonehedge. Next trip Edinburgh-"Happy Travels." -

Accident Motorcyclist Killed Instantly After Crashing Into Car Parked Against Traffic
Picture courtesy of Khaosod. A 45-year-old man died at the scene after his motorcycle collided with a car parked against the flow of traffic on a rural road in Tha Sala district, Nakhon Si Thammarat. Police Lieutenant Colonel Somchai Muaydee, Deputy Superintendent of Tha Sala Police Station, received a report of a fatal road crash involving a motorcycle and a car on Ban Thung Prue Road, Moo 7, Sakaeo subdistrict. Officers, along with an investigative team, a medical examiner and volunteers from the Siam Ruamjai Pu In Foundation, were dispatched to the scene. Authorities discovered a silver bronze Mazda, registration number from Nakhon Si Thammarat, parked facing the wrong direction on the roadside. The car had visible damage to its front-left side. Nearby, a heavily damaged green Honda motorcycle, registration from Chonburi, lay in a roadside ditch. The body of Mr Jirasak, 45, a local resident of Sakaeo, was found under a banana tree beside the road. He had sustained severe chest trauma and a broken neck, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Initial investigations indicate that the victim had been riding along the road and, upon entering a curve, encountered the stationary car. Unable to brake in time, he crashed directly into it and was thrown off the motorcycle into the roadside vegetation. Police are continuing to investigate whether the car had been parked illegally or had been travelling against traffic before stopping. Witness statements and further evidence are being collected as legal proceedings move forward. Adapted by Asean Now from Khaosod 2025-06-05
