Yamaha -dealer

Featured Replies

Hi everybody

I am looking for a Yamaha Dealer with good mecanics that know how to work on a XV1600 Roadstar

It has to be a Yamaha-Dealer because of a Yamaha-Factory-callback on my Roadstar.

Any advise I would appreciate.

Greetings Elia

I might well be corrected here but I do not believe there are any official ''big bike'' Yamaha dealers in Thailand or for any other brand with the exception of BMW. I know the owner of the local Yamaha dealer here and once asked her about a new large bike. She said Yamaha did not sell them and would have to get a grey market import. I have had 3 ''big bikes'' and many of my friends have large bikes, I don't think any of us has ever heard of an official dealer selling them.

Your best bet would probably be to go to Siam Super Bike or Red Baron in Bangkok. Both proffesional outfits.

@Nakhonsi Sean

Thank you for your advise,but it has to be an oficial Yamaha-Dealer because it is about that Factory-recall.The Engine has to be disassembled and Yamaha-Japan has to pay for replacementparts an for the work.They do this already in Europe an America.I know it will be difficult to figure it out in Thailand.But I have to try.

Greetings,Elia

The only other way might be to get it down to Malaysia or Singapore, probably find a dealer there no problem. Bit of a shlep though!

Red Baron is your best bet, excellent mechanics there. Siam Superbikes went belly up with massive fraud.
