I wouldn't have gull wing doors, not practical at all in an underground car park, doors would be hitting the roof.

They would be with my motor anyway.

But look cool on low motors............. :o

I never thought about the underground car park thing... good point...

Either way, not my style at all. I think it looks rather tacky, IMO.

A bit off topic but in the same vein, can anyone recommend any sources for thailand truck mods.

I am looking for Mickey Thompson rims specifically but also interested in billits and tonneau covers amoungst other things.

I have found some sites while surfing but am looking for real life experiences.

Any good shops that specialize in truck mods and more importantly do quality work?

Any active 4x4 clubs in Thailand, they usually have their finger on the pulse.

I am in the Pattaya so prefer access to goods and services that doesn't include a lengthy journey to Timbuktu.

Mod's, if this could be better served as a separate thread, feel free.

looks crap, same as lowering a pickup - why? :o

one of my staff has a Honda Accord that he has lowered and everytime you go in a bangkok carpark it is a task to get in without scraping the front and underbody - what a complete waste of money! IMO

If i fitted those doors to my truck i think i would soon get bored of picking up the contents of the door pockets each time they were catapulted over the car park :-D

Many of the Thai trucks are way farther advanced than that. For easy in and out they simply take the doors off, or break them off. Great weight and fuel savings too. No air con to worry about either.

Or you can just weld the doors shut and jump in and out through the window, Dukes of Hazard style.
