I think closest Rimping is at Maya..., problem is getting NnD to take me there..., she hates the place..., +  has the car n licence ;)
I can feel some major grovelling coming on..., it'll probably cost me a bottle of 2010 Cape Mentelle 'Red Ned'. :wai:

What about dips..., such as french onion, homus, baba ganush, guacamole etc etc. Able to source these anywhere in CM ?
Plus what about double brie and camembert ?

They don't sell cheese, but Chiang Mai Bread offer an assortment of dips.  They deliver, too.  Free, in the city.  If you live further out, a call to them may be useful. They do say to enquire if they deliver to your area.   Everything I've ordered has been excellent.

Some of what they offer, aside from bread:

Peanut butter (100% natural) 180gr jar - 75 THB
Tomato/Basil salad - 80 THB
Hummus 250gr - 80 THB
Hummus 500gr - 140 THB
Roasted Tomato Hummus 250gr - 95 THB (bit spicy)
Roasted Tomato Hummus 500gr - 180 THB
Black Currant Preserves 220gr jar - 90 THB
Vegan Butter 250gr - 150 THB
Dill Cream Cheese 200g jar - 170 THB (vegan cheese)

Raw Almond Milk (unsweetened 100% natural) 500ml - 100 THB

Bruschetta Set - Baguette (Not yet toasted) + Tomato/basil Salad - 120 THB
Hummus Dip Set - 3 Pita's + Hummus 250g with topping + cucumber and carrots 150 THB

Mango Salsa 300gr (seasonal specialty) - 80 THB Now available

Hope there's something there for you,

We've been looking online and can't find an exact location for "Chiang Mai Bread"..., is it located S/E of the S/E moat corner..., just over the Ping ?

Yes, they are Nong Hoi, further south than the Chiang Mai Gymkhana Club.   Their number is  089 954 993,  you can message them on facebook, or email [email protected]. Their customer service is excellent.

Good luck,

Imelda
