Has anyone priced this phone at Tukcom or Big C in the pattaya area lately? The price in Dubai Airport is very close to Amazon in the US but the Facetime app is disabled. I have read it can be reactivated easily but I am not sure.

I wouldnt buy it from Dubai, as you say Facetime has been deactivated and from experience it is not easy, infact I tried on a Ipad and it couldnt be done that was including jailbreaking etc.

I think there is something in the hardware itself that has been disabled and its not juts a case of changing the sim in a non dubai area or a software update.

if you use facetime buy it from somewhere else so you are 100% sure you have it

I dont use facetime but better to have and not need etc.
