Help needed i no there is the VongTong Hotel but i have used the other and want to book but have lost card it is called the Teprakhon i think.someone whoreads this must no or do you all have shares in the VongTONG?

First visit I stopped Vontong thought it was poor Thepnakorn much better and have 7 floors and friendly staff

The other thing I didn't like about the VongThong when I tried to book by telephone last December was the blatant two-tier pricing. If I had booked two rooms they were willing to give the mother-in-law the Thai price, but me and the wife were going to have to pay a couple of hundred baht more. I said that if they wanted the business and rang me back I'd take two rooms at the Thai price, but I never got a call. The receptionist blamed the policy on the new manager. I think you can probably get around this with internet booking, but I don't think they deserve the custom. I stayed at the other big hotel on the edge of town with the swimming pool which is just as good (I think it is the one you are discussing). The problem is that the location of both of these is less than ideal. I have also stayed in the Thai Hotel which is very conveniently sited for the Square and the Bamboo Bar (my nomination for the best farang food in lower Isaan and great Thai cusine too), but the rooms and facilities leave a lot to be desired.
