Company registered in Samui. Can I transfer it to Hua Hin

Featured Replies

I had a business 4 years ago in Samui, legit 4M Baht set up with 2 visas.

After 2 years we left Thailand, had paid taxes up for the following year, but did not do anything for the past 3 years.

I'm pretty sure we cancelled our work permits.

Am I able to revive this company and work permits?

Is it transferrable to Hua Hin?

To achieve that you would need to update the company's annual financial statements to 31 Dec 15, and bring up to date the company's monthly and annual filings for taxes etc including the payment of late penalties. Moving the registered office of the company to Hua Hin is straightforward, requiring notice/minutes of meeting deciding on the new location, and filing of forms and fees with the Dept of Business Development. You should be able to apply for 2 new work permits after you have paid 3 months social security for 8 Thai staff.
