Pond Liner?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know where I can purchase a pond liner in the Korat area?

Thank you,

Jeff

Hi

Not a lot of response! Was hoping to learn if they are available in LOS as could use one myself.

Still at least moved it back up the page and await developments. :o

I usually think of "constructing" a pond liner and not "purchasing" a pond liner. Pond liners can be constructed from concrete, clay, or plastic sheeting......can't think of any other methods commonly used. Seems like this has been discussed here before...maybe do a search.

Hi Chownah

Concrete lining my pond is not an option due to the size approx 40 meter x 30m x 4m clay lined and is for ornamental purposes, while it looks OK after the rainy season the rest of the year it looks an eyesore as the water level drops.

I am rapidly coming to the conclusion that it will have to be filled in and a much smaller one constructed from concrete etc.

Thanks

I did a search and found someone asking back in 5-21-05 about one. I figured there might be some new people that had an idea where to buy a plastic one.

I have seen rolls of the plastic in Bangkok, give me some time to remember where.

I saw a really good way to "Weld" the plastic. There were 2 men one with a Heat Paint Stripper and the other with a "V" shaped piece of steel and what looked to be little more than a Pizza Cutter. The plastic heated by the heat gun was then forced together with the "V" and the metal wheel.

Looked a very neat solution.
