Ford 24 hour part guarantee

Featured Replies

On Tuesday 19th, the ford garage told me i needed a new steering joint, but it wasn't in stock, so I re-booked for Saturday 23rd. On Saturday, i waited around for 45 minutes before they told me the part had not arrived. I pointed out that their 24 hour part guarantee states that the part is now free of charge. First, they acted dumb and then tried to tell me this part is not included in the promotion. I will be calling Ford Thailand on Monday for further clarification.

You may fall at this hurdle "The vehicle also needs to be dropped at dealer during waiting for service part." sad.png

Possibly, but they ordered the parts and re booked me. I think the whole promotion is a marketing scam!

The small print also says they are not liable for 3rd party delays, and they can change any of the terms of the offer. But you're not trying to be buddies with them, so be interesting to hold their feet to the fire and see what happens.

If they start flopping and twitching, and have a Facebook page, that is effective leverage. Keep it professional, no foul language. I did it once with Global House (home store) and was successful.

laugh.png good luck with Ford in Bangkok, we were on the phone with them half of last week with one thing and another - totally useless!!!

When your job is done they'll send you a questionnaire on which you can write all your complaints - that still will make no difference for future problems with them. laugh.png .

They couldn't even get an "o ring" to the Phuket dealership in 24 hours bah.gif
