Anyone use TOT iptv?

My True Visions annual subscription is up the end of the month, and my wife basically only watches 3 Thai channels, and all my TV is via Roku or Apple TV wanted an alternative for basic Thai TV

So, I wandered into the local TOT store, since the basic TOT iptv service is advertised as a one time fee for the box. Interesting discussion ensued, with the gal in the store refusing to sell it, since she told us it really wasn't working and TOT was 'fixing' it, whatever that means.

So my question is, does anyone have any current experiences with the box?

Maybe they where reluctant to sell because the internet in your area is not good or maybe she wasn't getting any commission from selling them ?

I have the TOT  IPTV box   it works well  as long as your internet service is working as it should

  ( in that case you can watch stuff from the USB socket )

one thing I dont like is that  in "catch up mode"  they insert a  very  prominent "recorded" banner in the top right of the screen.

You can also watch on a mobile phone  they have an app on the Playstore  but you need to register to view

looks like you can buy the box direct  bypassing your local office.

Thanks for that. I know my fiber2U internet connection is OK, I happily stream 1080p from the US, but trying to explain that to a 'deer in the headlights' faced shop girl in the TOT shop is pointless, so your experience with the actual service is what i wanted to hear. Placed the online order for the box a few minutes ago. t

We got a TOT IPTV box a couple years ago with the internet service. It worked OK and introduced us to the world of IPTV but we soon dumped the box as it was a pay service for any English language channels and replaced it with a generic Android unit that allows any  apps to run and access to Google Playstore unlike the TOT box we had. Mostly run Kodi on it now.

  • 1 month later...

So after a month or so, here's my take on TOT IPTV;

It actually isn't bad, the quality is good, it's free with my fiber2u package, has all the stupid lakorn's my wife craves, so it cool.

On a techie note the box itself is awful. Its old, running Android ice cream, and does require reboots.

It runs hot, and after about 24 hours will goes into a 'buffering' mode which is annoying. I have found that adding it to my morning; feed the cat, feed the fish, and reboot the TOT box...all is good
