Is TOA-100 (here: http://www.toagroup.com/th/product/66/193-ทีโอเอ-100-วอเตอร์-รีเพลแลนท์-กลอส.html ) the same as, say, Ronseal Wood Hardener: http://www.ronseal.co.uk/home/fillers/wet-rot-hardener/

My local hardware shop in Phuket didn't understand wood "hardener", and the nearest they came up with was the TOA-100, but that looks more like waterproof varnish.

Anyone used it or equivalent?

It is a standard acrylic polymer.

However the UK product is made for a country where labour is expensive and I  would regard it as a bodge. Here where labour is not expensive  you can easily do a proper job.

That would mean that there is probably no market for it.
