PHUKET: -- Police are looking for a foreign woman, believed to be Russian, who abandoned her vehicle and fled the scene after her car slammed into the back of a pickup truck in Srisoonthorn, central Phuket, yesterday morning (Sept 11).

Capt Sunan Petchnoo of the Thalang Police was called to the accident, at a bend near the Tha Ruea shrine on Thepkrasattri Rd northbound, at 6am.

Police arrived at the scene to find a Toyota Vios with its front end demolished by the impact. About 100 metres away was 62-year-old Sommart Longrak was standing next to his Isuzu pickup truck with a damaged rear end.

Just the other day there was cheers, happy smiles and handclaps by the TAT boss because the Russians were returning to Phuket.

Look out Phuket here they come!

So if they aren't robbing a gold store , they're slamming into other cars and fleeing.
