Tailors Near Regent Chalet?

I am going to stay in Regent Chalet hotel.

I know there is at least 1 tailor shop in the Regent hotel area...

Any comments about this tailor? Is it very expencive?

Usually everything is much more expencive in hotels/hotel areas. :o

Or is there some good (+cheap :D ) tailor shop near Regent Chalet?

Or Do I need to go to Hua Hin for tailor?

I think it would be easier if the tailor is near hotel (easier to do the fittings?)...

Or is the trip to Hua Hin very easy to do? Any ideas how much the trip to Hua Hin will be? :D

300bath for one way? Or more? We are 2 persons...

The tailors there are most likely rubbish as they are everywhere in Thailand.

Not only rubbish, they are bordering with criminals. They would take your measure, promise something, and it all goes to some hangar sweatshops (you would not know that). The fabric you chose won't come as the final product. Probably, no seams, they may just glue it.

"You have a fish sandwich in your bag or something else stinks like this?" your coworkers may ask.

That's your cheap biz suit stinking.

Forget it.

if you have a suit made they will ask you when you are going back home and promise to have your order ready by then , usually the night before.

make sure you give them a date at least a week before the actual date , that way the tailors will have adequate time to do the alterations / remake that will probably be necessary.
