Swedish man, 47, found hanged at Phuket hotel

PHUKET: -- Police are currently investigating the death of a 47-year-old Swedish man found hanged at a hotel at Kamala Beach yesterday (Sept 26).

 

Kamala Police Capt Charnnarong Prakongear received a call from staff at The Regent Hotel on Soi Bangwan (or Soi OrBorTor) where it was stated that one of their guests, a foreign man, had been found hanged in his room.

 

Police arrived at the four storey hotel with Kusoldharm rescue workers and Kamala Kuipai and were led to a ground floor room where the body of the Swedish man (name withheld until his family have been notified) was hanging by a nylon rope from the bathroom door frame.

I expect what is being referred to here is the size of the population rather than the land area

I know the UK population would be grateful for half as much space as the Swedes have per head
