New police forms

Featured Replies

I am not too worried about filling in one or more forms, but........
Thousands of Farangs are coming to Thailand every day. About same number is leaving. How to keep this records up to date? Or is it only Farangs staying permanently involved?

OK you can fill out the form,is there a follow up to see if the answers are truthfull. They will need an army.I really dont see the logic,oh that word again.I would suggest that the greater majority of foreigners are pretty law abiding and there are far greater problems this country need to address

Filled in out with made up answers, eye colour, height, weight income etc.

555.  Yes, now the rule is that anything, (text, photos, or porn cartoons)   you post on the internet belongs totally to the website.  It's not your's anymore.  Unless you submit a 'watermark' on the item you want to post signifying your ownership.  But then the website won't post it!!  555.

Sort of new,but for years one was supposed to notify you local police. All good fun Realy they new nothing about it,no one had told them about it

Got my visit yesterday and FIL spoke to him. Called just now to tell us they are on their way to collect form. All info I've been giving them for years. I'm in SanSai

Could be the "agency" gathering info as they did for a very short time last year.

Have any of those contacted got an extension renewal coming up soon by any chance?

Was asked last year. Need to carry copy of Passport, Visa page, and Entry and Exit stamps - or 90 day reports. All part of the Good Guys In - Bad Guys Out program. So got copies, laminated, put in all bikes and cars. Cost I think was one baht per copy, 10 baht for lamination. Takes 15 minutes. Done deal. In the Grand Scheme of things - to be able to live in LOS - small potatoes. Their House - Their Rules. Get Over It !!!

If this is in fact what they want to achieve then wouldn't it be easier to hand

out a small mini card (similar to Big C small card) with any Visa ext... It would  state in good standing  thru xxx date?

No...Instead this type of hype is good for one thing...hoping most legal folks won't know

&  will not always carry/update all these copies thus providing a nice side income of fines

Your right their rules etc...but really see clearly what the rules are designed for...nothing to get over
