A Chiang Mai to Bangkok flight was delayed by five minutes this morning as the bomb disposal unit was deployed to inspect a mysterious vibrating object inside a passenger's suitcase.

The suitcase of a passenger aboard AirAsia flight FD34348, which was scheduled to leave Chiang Mai at 8:25am, contained, not a bomb or other dangerous object, but what officers found to be a silver bullet vibrator that the owner had obviously forgotten to take the battery out of.

"When inspected, the officers found a sex toy. They did not confiscate the item because it did not threaten aviation security. The flight was delayed by five minutes," AirAsia told Khaosod.

Have to remeber that ! take batteries out of vibrator Hmmm Didn't threaten aviation security but scared the shit out of some apparently !!! Oh no finger pointing of the owner Ohhh ! I also thought ammunition was ban Silver Bullet someone was going to go off ?

I wonder if they went on the plane, you know.....

"Please make sure you turn off all your sex toys, please don't leave them switched on like the passenger in seat 38D".

Strange, I remember reading somewhere (Possibly on Thaivisa) that sex toys are illegal in Thailand!  And or course one will never find them for sale in this Kingdom... yeah right :shock1:

Now if the owner is a foreigner it might be adviseable to leave the country as soon as possible..... you wouldnt want a black mark against your name (Albeit a slightly humourous one)

Yeah - they put it back in the luggage.....

Along with their 8 phone numbers....

wow a 5 minute delay... What a  precise airline .. unbelievable

I wonder that the bomb disposal officer wears only sun glasses as safety protection.

But maybe the pic was taken for the show, after the scan by full equipped officers.

Which means the passengers were not deboarded while the suspect baggage was examined next to the aircraft.

A very dangerous shortcut to passenger security.

Not sure what that guy is holding in his hands. But if that's a sex toy, my sex ed and/or shop teachers have a lot to answer for!

The bomb disposal unit did not confiscate the silver bullet, but they must have thought its owner was a dill though.

I love that they specify that it wasn't just a vibrator but that it was a silver bullet vibrator. Hilarious story.
