Remember ( when converting )  that they only give you a licence for the category of licence you all ready hold

so for example they wont ( some mistakenly do ) give you a motorcycle licence if  that category is not on your foreign licence.

in that case you would have to do full tests for the motorcycle licence   color,reaction,depth perception + computer theory test + actual on the track riding test.

I not to long ago got my MC license. Showed them my Canadian driver licence which states GM.  G for car and M for motor cycle. They had me go get a print out of the definitions from the Ontario license site. Went across the street and found business that let me use their computer. Printed it off and took it back. They took a look at it in English but he could read it so no translation needed. He said OK. Just had to do the reaction test and color light test. Picture taken and that was it. Easy no fuss. Thinking of getting a car d/l next. Oh ya this was in Rayong and it is good for two years.
