Let's not confuse the OP or anyone else .. Of course you can buy insurance, you can even buy a year insurance and not use it if you so wish. You may have trouble getting 1st class, but in your first post you said you would have difficulty in leaving the country.

 

 

Guess we should not tell anyone what our experiences are then,because their is always someone that twists it around.All I said was that even with a number 1 insurance I could not drive across the border and be insured at the same time.The OPs idea was to cross borders and thats all I told my experience about.What bike he gets I have no idea,so I dont stick my neck out for the hammer.
