Red Planet Hotel Patong - any good?

Hi,

  I'm looking at staying at the Red Planet Hotel.  Any advice would be appreciated before I book my reservation?

Is within walking distance to the beach?

Is it within walking distance to the nightlife?

Anything else I should know about?

This was the Tune hotel in the past.  Location is good for beach and nightlife.  Has good TripAdvisor ratings.

as for your question, the answer is both YES. Just keep in mind the room is TINY, less than 10 sqm, no cupboard at all, you can barely walk around the bed. It is a typical shoe-box. If you r okay with that, proceed to booking
