justintimetoday2016
I am thinking about moving to Khon Kaen at a future date and would like to live in or near the city and on a bus route as I do not drive. I have been browsing the Internet for 1 or 2 bed condo or house and whilst that is not a problem the overall size of the condos relative to the monthly rent appears out of proportion and nothing like what I could get in Chiang Mai or Pattaya. Do condos of say 60 plus metres exist in Khon Kaen for 20,000 or under per month and furnished? Appreciate any useful info on the situation from those living in Khon Kaen Many thanks
DILLIGAD
I would suggest that it may be worth considering a small bungalow/shophouse as I'd guess that there would be far more of them available therefor, maybe at a better price.I am generalizing about Isaan cities BTW as I do not live where your looking.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
lopburi3
As said above condos were declared only fit for bird population by prominent Thai officials not so many years ago and they are not likely to be found for anything but lowest income outside of Bangkok/Chiang Mai and the sea areas. There is plenty of land available in most areas of Thailand to build normal homes and town homes or shophouse type dwellings. As with any real estate in Thailand it is likely in your best interests to be on the ground and spend some time looking around - most rentals are done directly owner to tenant. jimmyyy
I rent a 3 bedroom 2 bath house in a really nice neighborhood, house is brand new, 23,000.00 baht a month. Came with air cons, tv, all furniture, and a security system. Lots of available housing. Just come up and have a look.
KhunBENQ
Not having a ride limits your choices significantly. Not too many city bus routes really.
