Dells have a good rep w/ Linux. As for your proposed Thinkpad, you might post an inquiry on reddit: https://reddit.com/r/thinkpad/ There's one thread here w/ redditors reporting mixed results. One achieved perfect success, another has a workaround, another hasn't got WiFi6 working. Problem with constipation at 82.
Yes I did buy some of that and it worked for a short while and then it didn't! So I am trying various other options, although the prune juice and sorbitol mixture really does work, so I am back on that to have a bit of a "clear out", although as I said in an earlier post I don't want to have to use it all the time. Sorbitol is a "sugar alcohol" found in prunes/prune juice (and some other fruits) which draws water into the bowel, thereby causing the desired effect; and it would appear to be safe for long term use and it has very little effect on one's blood sugar levels. "Sorbitol has been reviewed and recognized as safe to consume by many global health authorities, including the FDA". So maybe I will stay with this, but nothing wrong with trying to go the "fibre" way although I'm beginning to think that because my digestive system is so slow, the fibre adds to the problem, rather than helps to alleviate it. -

If Russia uses tactical nuclear weapons, it will be exhausted by the war in Europe and will lose. Someone in the West for some reason decided that Putin is stupid and does not understand such obvious and elementary things. Then brilliant American minds suddenly decided that Putin is not only stupid but also a coward and in response to the direct american attacks on Kursk he will s**t in his pants and not press the button. In fact, Putin simply always pauses so that his military response is understood and supported by the people and the opposition cannot organize a revolution based on the fact that people in Russia misunderstood something. This pause is always there and there will always be a temptation to interpret it as weakness. Nevertheless, the most recent Trump/Biden`s Good cop/bad cop tactic looks like an attempt by the West to use its brains and not just go straight ahead. -
