Build a 48 hour backup solution

I am looking for some decent home utility deep cycle batteries, connectors and so forth..

 

I want to build something like this: 

 

 

Any pro tips to where I could go to purchase all this ?

What do you want to power for 48 hours?

 

Deep cycle batteries are available at Amorn Solar (or any of the solar power suppliers) but you may find a small generator (and a baby UPS) more cost effective.
