A distraught Udon woman has told police that she believes her mother in law has arranged to abduct her four year old daughter.

A police patrol in downtown Udon was told of the case as the mother and father looked for their child.

A woman they called "Na" had come to stay with the family. She is a worker at a school run by the mother in law.

She claimed she had come to Udon from Sakorn Nakorn to bring the father of Bright, aged four, some clothes.

She was allowed to take the four year old out to visit a resort owned by her mother but did not return.

The motorbike she used to take her out was found parked nearby but a check at the bus station failed to find the pair.

Bright's mother believes her daughter has been whisked off to Sakon Nakorn where her husband's family live.

No charges have yet been laid. Police are trying to resolve the matter.

Bright's mother and father used to live together with the grandmother in Sakon Nakorn and the grandparents loved their granddaughter very much.

But after the parents had argued and Bright's mother took her to Udon to live they missed her and wanted her back.

Police believe this has led to the abduction and they are going to bring the parties together to resolve the matter when it is confirmed that the little girl is safe and sound.

Assuming that the guy in the blue shirt is the 'estranged' husband, father of the missing child and son of the accused abductor, his body language speaks volumes.

Your assumption could be wrong.

I would assume that he is the latest partner of Bright's mother, and the father is probably still in Sakon  Nakorn with the rest of the family.

This report from Sanook is the worst bit if Journalism I have read . She states she brought her father or father in law some cloths and he is  4 years old

Then it rambles with no clear beginning middle and end to the story

Looks like a  6 year old wrote it

Yeah, right. They are waiting to see if the mother will come up with 10,000 baht before they start inquiries.
