The activity stream are missing !

I can only find my latest unread posts , the activity , new posts are gone !   I am using Windows with Chrome.

 

Somethings changed  ?

This is how it looks like now.   Unread content to the right of the screen is normal but New activity and unread activity suddenly missing.

With "New activity", do you mean "View New Content?

balo. I have the same problem and I am using Windows 10 and Firefox.

 

It has disappeared from my profile also.

Yes it vanished several days ago and was the most used feature for me - activity was located above forums and provided options for just about everything - but what I used most was new posts in topics I had made posts.  Have not been able to find anywhere else.  Believe it may have been removed when "jump to" appeared (but could be I just never noticed that feature before so not sure - just sure I miss the activity menu).

Yes , its gone from the windows version. If I use the new Android app theres a choice between Unread content and Participated. Participated works but Unread content will only load the last page of the thread, despite changing to the recommended settings in the menu.

The terminology used does not seem to be same on the web version and the Android app. Which version are you talking about?

Hard to answer now that it is gone - on w10/Chrome it was a word (believe activity) directly above forum when you selected forum home and if provided a menu of choices when clicked.  One of these was a complete listing of all topics you had posted to arranged by day/week/month and those with unread response were indicated so made it much easier than going through every forum section looking for starred icon (which is almost impossible to do quickly).  It allowed us to respond to topics in a timely manner.

 

Believe it was removed Friday and had hope that was just to allow backups or some such function to work faster.  But it has not returned.

IMHO if they are going to change something they should post a notice that everyone sees as they log in or open TVF. Something along the lives of "we will be modifying xxx from tomorrow and will let it run for a week. If you have any problems contact us here on yyy" Thank you for your patience.

I remember that link, in white on the black menu bar. The item in the pop-up menu it opened was "Content I posted in" or something like that, I believe. That function must be somewhere else now, I should think, but where? Got to go to the PC to hunt for it.

Got it. 

 

1.  Near the top right of the screen, click on your member name.
2. In the context-sensitive menu that opens, click on My Activity.

It somehow makes sense for it to be there, once I know where it is.

Thanks very much.  I had tried that but they changed the wording as now you have to just select "posts" and not set up the same day/week/month as it was previously.  But it serves the purpose.

OK - my activity was not the same as Android "participated" but was usable.  But today that has gone!  You have to select profiles and posts to get anything with the member name route.

 

But have found the original menu selection included in "view new content" - select "ownership" and then "content I have posted in".  3 key-clicks but once in you can return with back-page.

Activity streams have been re-added to the main menu, I have stressed to the dev guys who work on the other sites that this menu must contain the core forum functionality as I would have expected.
