True Fibre vs. Planet Fibre? Any experiences?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I recently purchased an apartment in 'The Lofts Ekkamai' and was told by the management office that only True Fibre and Planet Fibre is being offered at that location. I have never heard of Planet Fibre before but I did read all the recent topics/discussions here regarding True Fibre and am a bit scared by the negative experience some of you made; thus I am wondering if some of you use Planet Fibre and can shed some light on this provider?

I find it odd that 3BB is not offering any service in that brand new condo. Anyway, I called the 3BB hotline myself and asked for a confirmation, they told me that someone will get back to me by tomorrow afternoon.

What do you guys think? Should I go with True Fibre and take a risk of suffering from similar performance issues or decide for what seems to be a smaller ISP who may have some capacity left?

Any advise is appreciated.

With Regards,

Sambora

No experience and it's indeed difficult to find information on Planet Fibre.

Website is in Thai only.

They specialize in serving condominiums, hotels and other businesses.

Seems they offer up to 500/500 Mbit/s for 19999  (with symmetric bandwidth directed to companies/professionals of course).

For me it's a good(!) sign that they don't offer dumping prices for their packages but clearly distinct prices depending on bandwidth:

Roll the dice or give PlanetFibre a try.
