CHIANG RAI: -- The Seismological Bureau of Thai Meteorological Department issued an announcement of a 3.2 magnitude earthquake at the depth of 1 kilometre in Mae Lao district of Chiang Rai early this morning.

It said the earthquake occurred at 05.07am Friday and was felt in the town of Chiang Rai.

It did not say if the quake caused any casualties or damaged to properties.

Looking at the map I would say it was the Maechan fault , I live in Maechan and I still think about the last two quakes that shook us , I wake up if the bed shakes but it is usually my TW scratching her under croft. I am too polite to say ar!se .

Is there  any possible  correlation  involving  the urge  to scratch and the incidence of seismic tremors?
