December 3, 20169 yr Unfortunately the Ford Reversing Warning System is badly designed. After the short bleeps it changes to a continuous one when of course it should change to 'LADY FOR ****SAKE STOP'. So we now have a few small damaged areas on the bottom of the bumper and underneath. Easy to repair ... filler ...touch up paint ..and a bit of glass coating over to finish. Where can I obtain some 'plastic filler' please other than going begging at a spray shop. Thanks
December 3, 20169 yr I buy body filler from Hardware House , I suspect most hardware shops will sell it.

December 4, 20169 yr There's something wrong with your back-up sensors, or the wife's hearing. I have a WT and the beeping increases as proximity is reduced and the solid beep still leaves around 12-15cm from the wall. It will all happen again after you spend around 5000 baht and 2-3 days on repairs... unless you get a divorce. I would wait for a full year of dings and then drop by any of the many after-market, composite fender and bumper replacement shops and get a whole new bumper. The cost would probably be a little bit more but it will look better and (hopefully) last a bit longer than any bondo patching. They can do the spraying of the panel after you order it and then you arrange a time to come by and get it fitted which should take about an hour.
December 4, 20169 yr Surely you got a years free insurance with the Ford, just get it fixed at their cost, too easy?

If the OP has a good insurer and a decent NCB, he may want to preserve that for when a real prang happens. After all, it's not Ford, the dealer or the finance company's name that is on the free insurance policy.
