I also find Asia Books in Bangkok excellent and helpful.

But if not in Bangkok I order from Book Depository (in UK) via the internet.

They offer FREE  Postage and this week I just received Lee Child's latest book and the cost delivered was about 650 Baht.

U could try the SK centre right by the clock tower in Chaingsanet Road. The book shop there does sell some English books. But u can pay and order.

FYI, I can log into two U.S. libraries where I have cards and "check out" books online for 2-3 weeks.  For FREE,  I should add.
