where have all the posters gone?

really only ever browse  Pattaya Forum but have recently noticed a very sharp decline in posters.  Maybe only a dozen or so in a day.  Less interesting threads?  Less members reading?  Low high season or what?

Have noticed this in all areas of the forum.  Less interest/people may be a factor but the outages and changes taking place every day since the "upgrade" to new software I suspect has resulted in many just giving up.  And of course those of us from USA have to stay home and build our wall.

For extended periods forum has not worked correctly on various platforms and only now seems to be regaining some stability.

We've all up and left, haven't we? At least that was what I was told.

But I'm still here, being my usual warm and fuzzy self.

I have some ideas as to why posters are not as a plenty as before

but they might be too risqué to mention, might get some people

noses out of joint....

It's probably due to all the: mockery, bullying, raillery, sarcasm, satire, irony. Ridicule, deride, mock, taunt imply making game of a person, usually in an unkind, jeering way.

Always someone trying to put someone else down who maybe asking a perfectly simple question or asking for help. It amazes me how perfect some people are (or think they are)and aren't we lucky to have them here, amongst us, as leading lights in our community.

Like you, I browse occasionally but have lost interest over the years with some of the negative hate filled responses that these keyboard warriors put on here.

Another reason, those stupid pop ups, saying you cant give reputation to this poster.

I am getting sick of this nonsense. Please no comments of how to fix it, believe me i have tried.

Maybe it's just that the old curmudgeons have finally driven out many w/ their unrelenting cynicism and negativity.
