My neighbor deliberately refused their rubbish in my bin. Should I be worried?

They look like CO2 Cartridges used in soda siphons.  Do people sniff CO2??  It's a fix for hyperventilation, nut not much else to my knowledge, except of course, for making soda water.

I'd be more concerned that I have a big scotch and soda drinker nearby.

My new neighbor parks his car in front of my house rather than park in front of his own. If I have visitors I will tell them to park in front of their house and we will see what happens. Thais defy logic at times.

You could of course just empty it all back into their bin, but to be honest, now that you have sent an email, I would just forget about it if it's just a one off.

Sounds like you possibly have a group of students as neighbours. Students tend to party, drink a lot,  eat crap food, and all the other things that come with living away from home for the first time.

The gas canisters are not nice, but at least it's not needles, and you aren't complaining about them keeping you awake playing loud music all night. So not all bad.

If none of your other neighbours are complaining, just leave it for now.

Some councils will fine people for putting the wrong things into the wrong bins, I would keep a record of it and email them with the pictures each time it happens if nothing else it is a good defence in case you are fined.

If your a thai female living alone I wouldn't recommend confronting anyone about it as it could make matters a whole lot worse.

Think they are lazy to recycling as most teens are, and are using your bin to dump it.

These look very thick steel, meaning they are designed for high pressure gas. These are therefore most likely pellet rifle cartridges explaining why there are large numbers of them.

Gas sniffed by druggies, such as paint, butane, and other such aerosols is not contained in such heavy cylinders as it is not held at high pressure. Flammable gases at such pressures would essentially be bombs.

CO2 is not Flammable, in fact it will extinguish flames by displacing the oxygen necessary for a fire.

Nope, these are most certainly  N2O (nitrous oxide) cartridges, otherwise known as "laughing gas". You'll see them sold for consumption under that name in Khao San Road and other party areas of Thailand.

Thanks for some helpful comments.

I haven't received any reply back from the council yet, but I at least have a record. I have already checked on the website and I believe I won't get fined from discarding the wrong types of garbage in the wrong bin.

As mentioned by @Glock3am, these gas canisters are N2O just in case you are wondering. Also, those bins are placed inside the property at the backyard with wall at every side. It doesn't make any sense for any passers-by to get in to throw their garbage in my bin.

The next round the bin is going to be emptied is next week.
