NAKHON SI THAMMARAT: --  Thai couple showed true love as they carried on with their wedding despite the floodwaters of the South.

 

Thai people loved the story of the wedding in Sichon district of Nakorn Sri Thammarat.

 

Bride Chorthip Thongmeesuk and her beloved groom Wirat Chaoreuang decided that the show must go on despite floodwaters of up to 40 centimeters, reports Sanook.

 

Chorthip’s train dragged in the muddy depths and Wirat was barefoot but everyone had a great time and there were smiles all round just like at any normal wedding as the couple greeted guests seated under a marquee.

 

Pictures of the nuptials were posted on Facebook by “Narong Theerakul MedeeTV Nakorn Sri Thammarat" after the ceremony on Saturday.

 

This area and much of the south of Thailand has been inundated after weeks of heavy rain.
