Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha takes a group photo with some children yesterday ahead of events planned for today at Government House as part of Children’s Day celebrations.

Children will get a chance to sit on Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha chair at  Government House today to help celebrate Children’s Day.

They can also take a tour on his office in Thai Khu Fah Building and take part in guided tours of other important rooms. After the tour, they would be encouraged to write cards to the Prime Minister.

The Cabinet meeting room would also be opened for youngsters.

Papa Payout has a big heart to allow the children only one day to sit on his

lofty perch... chairs comes and go, while the children are the future

of this nation.....

I wonder if the Thai 'journalists' will dress up as children again today for the beloved Leader - as they did a year or two ago - just to show they know their role and place and relish being patronised (patted on the head and fondled about the ears).

And maybe they'll get to vote before they reach old age.

As far as I'm concerned, the PM's chair has been occupied by a child for almost three years now. So why is this news?

Perhaps today some great idea's may be forth coming...................................:cheesy:

This should be a big blast for them if it's Prayut's real seat of power  !!!

In Thailand, it's quite different to other "democracies".

Good to see they have chosen a Thai with a manifestly high I.Q. to show the face of young Thailand. He'll see through all the spin and lies - that's quite evident from the highly intellectual and perspicacious look on his face!

Yep, the chair he grabbed by force, and gave himself absolute authority, with a complete amnesty past, present and, future, for him his cronies and family, the kids will be able to look back at this day and picture of the Head Honcho with pride!

This year the kids are very fortunate to seat on the junta PM's majestic leather chair. Previous kids had only the synthetic plastic chair of former PMs.

It's a long established tradition to do this, as shown by some of the photos above. However, never has such a swanky chair been seen before. It's a buttoned leather throne, compared to the office chairs seen in the past...
