I,m going to but a secondhand pickup truck what are the pitfalls and how do I register it

Are you buying it from a dealer or private? The dealer will usually take care of the road tax, insurance etc. At least mine did twice on two different cars. Even took me to immigration and arranged for the residents letter.

What are you after? I'm putting my 2014 BT-50 4x4 3.2L on the market next month. It has BF Goodz All-Terrain Tires, Carryboy Soft Tonneau Cover, Tow Hitch, JVC Entertainment System, Reverse Camera, All Leather, Jumper Cables, Compressor (i think), Tow Strap, A small Buddha on the dash courtesy of Khun Punch at MazdaBiz, A super dope Salt Life marlin decal, 3M tinted windows within the legal limit. And I think just 14,000km on the odo. Premium Insurance through Dec 2017. One small fender dent and a scratched wheel from a distracted driver. My rear tire rubbed a vios that took up 3/4 of a yaak two weeks ago. No damage to my truck but scratched up his bumper pretty good. Two incidents isn't bad for the Bangkok Battlegrounds.

 

I can let it go for a steal to ThaiVisa Motor Forum folks since ya'll helped me buy it to begin with.

Here is the link to my ad. We bought it in Dec 2014. It was manufactured in Jan 2014. Serviced regularly at Mazda Sukhumvit 65.

I said next month in my original post, but I actually need it until May. My family uses it to get to and from school, ballet, gymnastics, etc... The price then will be 760,000 but can go lower to the TV veterans of the forum.
