A policeman in Phitsanulok has been charged with murder after the shooting death of a woman outside a military camp in the northern province.

A woman called Kanok, 35, was shot in her white Honda City outside the camp on the Phitsanulok to Lom Sak Road just after midnight on Friday morning.

The policeman denies everything.

Insiders at the Phitsanulok station said that later officer Wuthikorn, 49, arrived and handed in a 9mm gun. He allegedly said that he had shot his girlfriend after they had been for dinner and she had wanted to end their relationship.

The reason she said was that both had families already.

Forensics and ballistics experts were examining the car yesterday and said that six shots were fired - five entered the car and one was found outside the vehicle.

Wuthikorn who is attached to Region 6's crime suppression unit has been charged with murder and having a weapon in a public place without good reason.

He now denies everything and said he will fight the matter in court.

He was detained and was due to appear in court to be remanded today.

Lets hope he gets this misunderstanding cleared up, Thailand needs more police like this.

And after they all get semi automatic handguns with 10 round clips they can really express themselves.

Cowboy county like never before.  And unfortunately all the way up to the very top this culture appears to be an acceptable form of behaviour.

And that he was an insecure, unstable, maniacal Thai policeman.

The fragile ego of the Thai male rears it's ugly head once again, A sad end to a young life.

He went to his station and confessed and handed in his gun, and then later denied everything. Okay.

Relationship ended!

failed

Both have families. You had your fling and fun. Move on! Can't believe the fragile egos of Thai males. Always needing a gun to make up for other 'less-endowed areas'.
