Another tanked up Brit ends up in a bloodied heap outside Pattaya pub

PATTAYA:-- Another British tourist has ended up seriously injured outside a Pattaya bar.

Our picture shows the tourist who was not named but was about 45 - 50 years old sprawled outside the Nicha Pub in North Pattaya around 3am Saturday morning.

Employees of the pub said he fell down the stairs.

Police who were on the scene with medics said he had a serious head wound, a broken arm and wounds on his body. He was treated at the scene then transferred to Banglamung Hospital.

He was unable to say what had happened as he was too drunk.

Witnet Thepsiri, 24, a ladyboy, said the man had paid the bar fine for him at another establishment and they had gone together for a night on the town. He was already very drunk when he started a fight in another bar then outside started fighting with a taxi driver.

After this he dashed into the Nicha Pub and the next his companion saw of him was when he was sprawled outside the front of the bar.

Employees said the British man had entered the bar and started smashing things and was itching for a fight. They claimed he fell down the stairs after they succeeded in chasing him out.

Police took everyone off to the station to confirm their stories.

They said they would interview the tourist when he has recovered a little and if there is a case to answer they will prosecute the staff at the pub.

It has been a bad week especially for British tourists in Pattaya. A 63 year old was assaulted by a beer bar manageress, others fought each other when one touched his girlfriend's breast while a 62 year old man was caught with his pants down by the district chief in a short time hotel on Valentine's Day and had his story spread all over the news.

As a matter of fact, I'm surprise there aren't many more cases like this

as most of those kind of ' tourist ' are coming to places like Pattaya

to binge on their vices as much as they can and da hell with the

consequences,  so as long as the cheap beer and drugs are flowing

out there, so will those kind of men will find themselves kissing the

footpath soaked in urine and blood... Ahh, what a holiday....

Bad week for the brits??? I really believe it´s been a bad year. Okey, now it´s not only them but it seems to be a very big part.

But as usual there are going to be a lot of people defending him and putting him on a pillar as a model of a top quality tourist.

Just very strange that this keep happening to them.

Wow, three or four stories in a week and its "typical Brits" headlines and comments. back in the early 1980's it would have been "typical Germans", then moving on a few years to "typical Arabs" closely followed by "typical Russians". Anyone notice the common theme in all these stories seems to be that wonderful family oriented clean green quality tourist resort of Pattaya ?????

Bunch of clowns in circus city. This one wasn't even able to fulfill  his bar-fine obligations. The stretcher interview didn't go well, I couldn't understand a word he was saying.

You never heard it said, "he fell down the bleeding stairs", it's a common phrase in the British Army and elsewhere.

Even from that photo angle it's easy to tell he's a Brit, socks and sandals!

I start to get it now when people say American's are more quality tourists then Brits.. bad news week for them.

If Primark were to open in Pattaya that would be at least one reason to contemplate a visit. In fact Primark in Thailand could revolutionise retailing...for the better.

We should get that picture off to Primark asap, they could use it for advertising in their stores - "branded trainers on sale, what all young fashionable drunk Brits are wearing in pattaya today".

Ho Hum, yet another well behaved, tea drinking tourist injured & looked on by concerned Katoy partner (likely not paid!).

 

And still they & never, never learn!! Sad creatures!!

No good Pattaya violence story is complete without featuring a ladyboy. I'm sure he/she was well mannered and behaved and had absolutely nothing to do with this unfortunate event. Playing with fire and deserved all he got by sound of it.
