BANGKOK: -- The State Enterprise Policy Committee on Monday approved the first batch of rail-transport system installations for BTS Skytrain Green Line’s two extended routes.

The batch is worth Bt23 billion and due to open in 2020.

Firstly, the route will be extended to the North from Mo Chit to Kukot via Saphan Mai and then will be extended South from Bearing to Samut Prakan.

Bit misleading as it's already finished just about to Samut Prakan

And been under construction in Saphan Mai for at least a year

Stop 14 on the map will be right next to the very good, free, RTAF museum.

It would be nice to have the map in  English,  please!

Oops, we're building the eastern bit first (scheduled opening Dec 2018), do we stop and get going on the northern section which is barely out of the ground?

Try this - best I have found so far Transit-Map.jpeg

They can extend the northern route in Bangkok lands now, this will give them extra time to squabble childishly over the spoils of the southeast extension to Samut Prakarn - good excuse for not actually finishing it yet.

That great Zoowatch map was done in 2005 and whilst excellent is a little out of date. This is the map that you want....

If you want a full update on the various lines then go to the bottom of page 21 on this thread,

Thanks for those maps - doubt I will live to see any of them finished but there's always hope that someone on this site now will get to use them !

Much of it will be completed by 2025 even accounting for delays. Overcrowding will be a significant issue on most lines by then.

BY 2030 we'll see new projects proposed in the outer areas such as connecting the Purple and Yellow lines at the southern end and more inter-connectivity between main lines.

Assuming that some of Samut Prakhan and some of southern BKK hasn't fully flooded by then......
