Threat message

Featured Replies

I have started getting the attached threat message almost continuously and it's driving me nuts. I have run the Avast scan twice already, as well as the Malwarebytes scan. Both programs reported no threats detected.

Any advice would be most helpful.

Also on Firefox,

Occured three times on firefox startup.

No responses yet, but it does look like an Avast issue.

Thanks - looks like it's a false positive.

From Avast (last of Crossys links)....

FIXED: VPS 170222-0 is already out and fixes this false positive. Moroni .

Avast are a nuisance, I have uninstalled it and still cannot get rid of their stupid messages several times every day.

All browsers are bad

Good supporting arguments for the recent advice to stay away from 3rd party virus scanners.

Given by .... browser developers.

Never used one on private computers.
