Stanley Blades / Craft Knife

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if Stanley blade knives and blades are available in any of the diy super stores .  Never gave it a thought to bring too many spare blades from the UK as I assumed they were a global tool . However it appears they may not be available over here , unless you know different

yes Global sell both.

the pack of 5 blades similar to the above photo are 120bt which is a bit more expensive than the basic stanley knife (top photo) which comes with just one double sided blade.

My Thai builder has never seen a Stanley knife / retractable blade ( he really liked it as it is strong and safe ) and an English pal says he looked around also but could not find . We are up in the north east so may not get the range or selection that will be found around BKk , however I am doing a shop next week and will hit Global , Thai Watsadu & Home Pro etc when I go to Surin   . Thanks for your replies

Found the knife at Global & as said it comes with 1 blade . There were no spare blades though , store helper said " finished now " and chuckled at the same time which made me even more pissed off . How could she know without checking the computer stock list and how can they run out of articles when a low level of stock should automatically flag up a reorder .
